Uwe Post
Uwe Post (born June 15, 1968 ) is a German science fiction writer and non -fiction author.
Life
Uwe Post first studied physics and astronomy. After completing his studies, he worked as an editor for the computer magazine c't in Hanover. During this time he published his first science fiction stories ( explosion of an espresso machine in c't 1/99). As a result, several stories appeared in anthologies of Wurdack Verlag as well as in Nova and Exodus . Today Uwe Post works as a software developer in Wetter (Ruhr) . Post is married to science fiction and fantasy writer Nadine Boos .
His short story eDead.com won the 2006 William Voltz Award and was nominated for the 2008 Kurd Laßwitz Prize . Noware , published in Nova 13, came second in the German Science Fiction Prize 2009. Post's novel Symbiose was also published in 2009 and was nominated for both prizes. In 2010 he published the satirical SF detective novel Walpar Tonnraffir and the index finger of God , which was awarded the Kurd-Laßwitz Prize and the German Science Fiction Prize in 2011 .
Since October 2015 he has been editor-in-chief of the BiomAlpha series , which was written by a team of authors based on the model of modern television series in up to four storylines at the same time. In addition to the series inventor Post, Frederic Brake , Frank Lauenroth , Uwe Hermann , Niklas Peinecke , Merlin Thomas and Christian Weis also participated .
