Nadine Boos

Nadine Marina Boos (* 1981 in southwest Germany) is a German author of science fiction and youth literature .

Life

Nadine Boos studied information management. She worked as a librarian in public libraries for several years. Her first published science fiction story was Photosolaris in the Lotus-Effekt collection (Wurdack-Verlag) in 2008. She subsequently published several short stories in anthologies of Wurdack-Verlag and in Nova . Several of them were nominated for the Kurd-Laßwitz Prize and the German Science Fiction Prize . She is part of the team of authors for the series The Ninth Expansion . Her debut in this series, The Swarm of Trilobites , came out in 2014.

Nadine Boos writes novels for young people under her middle name Marina Boos. Her first novel for young people, The Night of the Cheetahs , was published in 2013 by Planet-Girl.

She currently lives in Wetter (Ruhr) . Boos is married to the science fiction author Uwe Post .
