Hermann Ritter (writer, 1965)
Hermann Ritter (* 1. March 1965 in Seeheim-Jugenheim ) is a German science fiction - author .
Life
Ritter is the great-grandson of the eponymous German writer knight and the son of the politician Karl Hermann Ritter . He dealt with the fantastic and related topics from an early age . Ritter first studied social work until 1988 and then history until 1995. He then worked for a few years in the private sector before turning to educational work as a social worker.
A first novel with fantastic content, the fairy tale Drei Bänder aus Eisen , was self-published by Ritter in 1986. Further short stories in various fan publications followed, some fantasy , some science fiction. From 2001 to 2013 he was co-editor of the yearbook Magira and is still actively involved in the development of the fantasy world Magira . Since 2006 he has been writing non-fiction books on the topics of spirituality, neo-paganism and fantasy, but also on right-wing extremism and right-wing extremists' attempts to gain a foothold in SF fandom and paganism. He has been writing for Perry Rhodan since 2009 , initially for the short series Perry Rhodan Action, and since 2012 for Perry Rhodan Neo . In addition to novels, he also wrote a biography about Klaus N. Frick , editor-in-chief of the SF series since 1999.
