Nicole Rensmann

Nicole Rensmann (born April 26, 1970 in Remscheid ) is a German writer in the genre of fantastic literature .

Life

After training at the city administration in Remscheid, she initially worked as a commercial clerk in a medium-sized company. Later she ran a fantastic literature mail order business for a while. Since 2000 Nicole Rensmann has only worked as a freelance writer. Many of her short stories, both for children and adults, can be found in various anthologies and daily newspapers. She also published a booklet in the Atlan series.

Her novel "Anam Cara - Seelenfreund" from 2003 reached 2nd place at the German Science Fiction Prize 2004. The visitors to the online magazine Phantastik-News placed the novel 2nd in the category "Best German-language debut novel" and 4th place in the category “Best German-language novel”.

Rensmann lives with her family in Remscheid.
