David Kajganich

David Kajganich (born November 15, 1969 in Lorain , Ohio ) is an American screenwriter and film producer .

Life

Kajganich studied fiction writing at the prestigious Iowa Writers' Workshop at the University of Iowa . After that he had various teaching positions a. a. at the University of Iowa, the National Endowment for the Arts , St. Albans School (Washington, DC), and the University of Miami . In 2003 he sold his first screenplay and moved to Los Angeles . The first feature film made based on his script was Invasion (2007), directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel .
