David Lago
David Scott Lago (born January 18, 1979 in Downey , California ) is an American actor . He was best known for his roles in A Heavenly Family and Shadows of Passion .
Life
David Lago was nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award in 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2004. In 2005 he finally won it too. However, he had not prepared an acceptance speech and so he quoted the story of two mice falling into a bucket of cream from Catch Me If You Can . He also won a Young Artist Award in the category Best Performance in a Soap Opera - Young Actor in 2000 , also for his role in Shadow of Passion .
Lago first appeared on television when he was 16, in an advertisement for Skittles . In addition to acting, Lago is the drummer in the band Killing Darla . He was also featured in the music videos Enough by Gravity Kills and La Familia by Frost .
In private, Lago was in a relationship with his acting partner Alexis Thorpe for a while (2003) , and the two are still good friends. His older brother Willy worked as a supporting actor for Shadow of Passion .
