David Ovey

David Ovey is a retired British racing car driver .

Racing career

David Ovey was active as a sports car driver in the early 1980s . In 1983 he drove a Porsche 930 in the World Sports Car Championship . He achieved the best placement with eleventh place and a class win at the Le Mans 24-hour race . He achieved further results in the final classification with 13th place in the 1000 km race of Silverstone , the 1000 km race of Spa-Francorchamps and the 1000 km race of Mugello and 15th place in the 1000 km race from Brands Hatch .
