David Rösch (cyclist)

David Rösch (born December 5, 1988 ) is a former German road cyclist .

In 2008 David Rösch finished second in a section of the Tour de la Province de Luxembourg . At the end of this season he drove for the Ista team as a stagiaire . In 2009 he received a contract with the Swiss cycling team Atlas-Romer's in-house bakery . In his first year there he was tenth overall in the Tour of Thuringia and in the Tour du Gévaudan Languedoc-Roussillon he won the overall standings. In the following years he achieved stage victories in the Thuringia Tour and the Tour des Pays de Savoie .

The mountain specialist ended his cycling career at the end of the 2012 season in order to concentrate on his studies in forest and environmental science as well as on social projects.
