David Reeb

David Reeb (* 1952 in Rechovot ) is an Israeli painter .

life and work

David Reeb studied from 1975 to 1978 at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. Reeb has lectured at the Kalisher School of Art in Tel Aviv, Haifa University and the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design . David Reeb is married to filmmaker Michal Goldman . The couple have two children.

Reeb has been awarded several prizes and has had numerous solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad, including in 1993 at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf , 1998 at the Heidelberger Kunstverein (with Eliezer Sonnenschein) and in 2000 at the Haus am Lützowplatz in Berlin.
