David Weinberger (2008)

David Weinberger (* 1950 in New York ) is an American speaker, author and philosopher on the subject of the Internet . He conducts research at Harvard University .

David Weinberger received his PhD in 1979 from the University of Toronto on Heidegger's ontology of things . He is particularly concerned with the question of how the Internet is changing human relationships, communication and society. The Cluetrain Manifesto , which Weinberger wrote together with Rick Levine , Christopher Locke and Doc Searls in 1999, became famous . Around 2002 he coined the term Infopinion , which refers to the connection between information and opinion.
