The Davis Piedmont Glacier is a 16 km long and 6.5 km wide foreland glacier on the Pennell Coast in the north of East Antarctica Victoria Land . It is north of the Missen Ridge .
It is named after John E. Davis, second master under James Clark Ross on his Antarctic expedition (1839–1842). The original name "Cape Davis" was repealed by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names and the New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1970 and transferred to the glacier.
