Davut Güloğlu (* 1972 in Rize ) is a Turkish pop musician .

life and career

Güloğlu was born the seventh of eleven siblings, but was orphaned at a young age . After his loss, he devoted himself to football and played in amateur teams for six years.

At the age of 13 he went to Istanbul and attended a music school opened by Arif Sağ in 1991 , where his talent was encouraged.

In 2000 he achieved his musical breakthrough with Nurcanım , combining elements of pop music with musical elements from the Black Sea region , especially with the Kemençe .
