De'u Chöchung ( Tib . : lDe'u chos-'byung ) is a work of the Tibetan historiographical Chöchung ( chos' byung ) genre by De'u Jose ( lDe'u Jo sras ) (1085–1171) from the 12th century Century. It is a story of Buddhism in India and Tibet . After the original manuscript was completed, it was revised and supplemented by other scholars. The work is divided into three parts, of which the second is the most important. It provides important insights into the history of Tantric Buddhism : Old Tantric Buddhism and the New School of Translation.

A modern edition appeared in the Tibetan book series gangs can rig mdzod .
