De Tijd (German Die Zeit ) is a Dutch- language daily newspaper from Belgium that has been published since 2004 as the successor to De Financieel-Economische Tijd . This was aimed primarily at readers from the business world with special business and financial reports, as well as stock market news. Since the renaming, De Tijd wants to reach a broad, educated audience with extensive coverage of politics and culture. The circulation is around 50,000 copies, the sales figures have fallen sharply in recent years:
