The Dead End Glacier is a glacier in southeastern South Georgia . It flows from the southern end of the Salvesen Range in an easterly direction and flows into the western flank of the Salomon Glacier .
The South Georgia Survey mapped it during its 1951-1957 survey of South Georgia. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it that way in 1958 because, contrary to original belief, there is no route for sled teams from the head end of the glacier to the north shore of Drygalski Fjord .
