Touch the Dead is a survival horror - and rail shooter - video game , which for the Nintendo DS has been developed and released.

Gameplay

The player controls the character Rob Steiner (or prisoner # 1809 ), who is an inmate of the Ashdown Hole prison. He is in custody for a murder he did not commit. When one day the prison door is open, he senses his chance to escape and is surprised with an inexplicable zombie apocalypse . In addition to escaping, one of the goals of the game is to solve the riddle of what goes on in the prison.

Various weapons are available such as the pistol, shotgun, machine gun and a crowbar. Ammunition is always in short supply and should be used with caution.

As with most first-person shooters for the DS, it is controlled by means of a touchscreen and buttons.

reception

The game received a rather mediocre reception from the trade press. While the graphics and scope were judged to be average, the soundtrack and controls were rated as good.
