Deborah Meister (* 1990 in Zurich ) is a Swiss - American actress and singer .

life and career

Deborah Meister was born in Zurich in 1990 and gained her first stage experience at the age of 7. She completed her acting training between 2006 and 2009 at the European Film Actor School in Zurich and at the StageArt Musical & Theater School SAMTS in Adliswil . From 2010 to 2011 she studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. She toured Switzerland as a musical performer and played in musicals such as "Les Miserables" and "The Little Shop of Horror".

She made her film debut in 2008 in the short film "My Brother". She was approached and signed by Archer King , an agent. This was followed by leading roles in American short films and new media series as well as an independent film "Way Out". She was inducted into the Screen Actors Guild for her role in Make It Happen. In January 2012 she shot the last episode.

In addition to acting, Meister started her own business as a singer. She produced her first single "In Time" with the studio label Btoven Music Productions New York. This was followed by concerts at Javits Center New York, Lincoln Center and Seaport Theater New York. On August 3, 2013 she won the elimination for the small Prix Walo with her song "In Time".

Since 2018 she has been represented by Bohemia Group worldwide as an actress and screenwriter.
