Deborah Kay "Debra" Genovese (born March 9, 1955 in Rockford , Illinois ) is a former American luge athlete .
In 1978 Genovese became the North American Luge Champion. In 1979 she finished third in the championship of the AAU and the North American championship . The following year, 1980, she qualified for the Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . There she reached 15th place after four runs.
Genovese graduated from Elgin Community College as a dental assistant in 1974.
