Stanley Richard "Stan" Dunklee (born August 14, 1954 in Brattleboro , Vermont ) is a former American cross-country skier .

Dunklee went to the University of Vermont in the track and field and cross-country skiing. In 1976 he became NCAA cross-country champion and then took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck . Over 50 kilometers, he finished 36th. In the same year he also completed his studies. In the following years he was American champion several times, including two titles over 50 kilometers in 1976 and 1979 as well as a championship title over 15 kilometers in 1978. Dunklee experienced his second Olympic Winter Games in 1980 in Lake Placid . In the individual competitions over 15, 30 and 50 kilometers, he finished 22nd, 30th and 33rd. In the relay competition over four times 10 kilometers he reached 8th place with his teammates Bill Koch , Tim Caldwell and Jim Galanes .

Dunklee is the brother of cross-country skier Everett Dunklee and father of biathlete Susan Dunklee .
