Leslie B. Bancroft-Krichko (born February 22, 1959 in Portland , Maine ) is a former American cross-country skier .

During her time at Oxford Hills High School , Bancroft-Krichko competed in alpine and cross-country skiing. In 1978 she was accepted into the US national cross-country skiing team. Two years later she took part in the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . She finished 33 and 28 over 5 and 10 kilometers. With her colleagues Alison Owen-Spencer , Beth Paxson and Lynn Spencer-Galanes , she finished 7th in the relay competition over four times 5 kilometers.

1983 Bancroft-Krichko resigned from the national team to study at the University of Vermont . She continued to do cross-country skiing and returned to the team. In 1986 she became US champion over 30 kilometers, in 1987 over 10 kilometers. In 1988 she took part in her second Winter Olympics in Calgary . She finished the competition over 5 kilometers in 31st place, over 10 kilometers she reached 36th place. In the relay with Dorcas Denhartog , Leslie Thompson and Nancy Fiddler , she took 8th place.
