Donna Margaret Burke (born August 16, 1954 in New York , New York ) is a former American luge athlete .
Burke started toboggan in 1977. In 1979 she won the US championships and then qualified for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . There she finished 17th after four runs.
Burke attended Amherst Regional High School in Massachusetts , where she was active as a hurdler. At Greendfield Community College , she played volleyball and studied arts and television engineering. She later moved to Lake Placid and worked as a freelance artist.
