Decision D is a Dutch death and thrash metal band from Utrecht , which was founded in 1986, disbanded in 1995 and has been active again since 2009.

history

The band was founded in 1986 as the mouthpiece for the Dutch Christian organization God's Pleasure . In the following years, the line-up changed several times around the singer Edwin Ogenio. After a permanent line-up had formed, the German label Inline Music became aware of the band. The group then recorded the debut album Razon de la Muerte in the label's own Delta studio in Wilster , which was released in 1992 on Crypta Records . After the successor Moratoria was released in 1993, the band held various concerts, including in November 1994 in the USA . In the same year the band also played at the Wacken Open Air . The third album The Last Prostitute was released in 1995 on the church-owned label Bark Horse Records. At the end of the year the community closed for financial reasons, which also meant the end for the band. The band has been active again since 2009.
