Blood from my blood

Los Angeles private detective Ed Loy returns to his old home in Dublin after 20 years when his mother dies. He had fled Ireland when his father disappeared without a trace. At his mother's funeral, his childhood sweetheart Linda approaches him and asks him for help in finding her missing husband. While researching the boomtown Dublin, the detective not only comes across current machinations, but also traces of his past.
