Defne Joy Foster
Defne Joy Foster (born May 2, 1979 in İncirlik , Turkey ; † February 2, 2011 in Istanbul , Turkey) was a Turkish- American television presenter and actress .
Life
Foster was born in İncirlik on May 2, 1979. Her mother is Turkish, her father is American. She attended secondary school in Alsancak , Turkey. She began her television career as a video jockey for the music channel Kral TV . She later hosted programs on television and starred in series.
In June 2008 she married İlker Yasin Solmaz and gave birth to a son in the summer of the following year.
On February 2, 2011, she died in Caddebostan / Istanbul as a result of an asthma attack in the apartment of Kerem Altan, the son of journalist Ahmet Altan . Defne Joy Foster was buried on February 3, 2011.
