Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia ( Tamil : தெகிவளை-கல்கிசை, Sinhala : දෙහිවල-ගල්කිස්ස) is the second largest city in Sri Lanka . It is a southern suburb of the capital Colombo and consists of the formerly independent cities Dehiwala and Mount Lavinia. Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia had about 210,000 inhabitants in 2001.

Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia has large Christian and Tamil minorities. There is a zoo in Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia. The main attraction, however, is the colonial-style Mt. Lavinia Hotel.
