Geographical location

Eydelstedt lies between the Dümmer Nature Park and the Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park, roughly halfway between Bremen and Osnabrück . The community belongs to the integrated community Barnstorf, which has its administrative seat in the town of Barnstorf .
