Motion picture theater
Quernheim is the smallest cinema location in Germany. The "Lichtburg", which opened in 1952, has two cinemas and, since 1997, an open-air cinema . Traditionally, the cult film " Blues Brothers " is shown every year on Good Friday . Many of the fans of the film appear in the typical Blues Brothers outfit.
Jewish Cemetery
The Jewish cemetery in Quernheim is a cultural monument . It is one of eight well-preserved Jewish cemeteries in the Diepholz district. In the cemetery on the street “Im Sande” there are 79 tombstones from the years 1732 to 1934 for the Jewish deceased.
