Delmotte is an impact crater on the northeastern front of the moon , north of the Mare Crisium and east of the great crater Cleomedes . The crater rim is irregular and relatively little eroded, the interior uneven.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the French astronomer Gabriel Delmotte .
