Demergotic
Demergotik describes a regional variant of the Gothic architectural style, which can be found mainly in Hageland in Belgium . The most striking features are the capitalless columns and the use of the local rust - brown iron-ore-bearing sandstone.
Examples of demergotic are:
- the Liebfrauenkirche in Aarschot
- St. Katharina and St. Sulpitius in Diest
- St. Lambertus in Westerlo
- St. Dymphna in Geel
- St. Laurentius in Betekom ( Begijnendijk )
- Sint Martinuskerk (Tessenderlo)
