Demokracja Bezpośrednia (German: Direct Democracy , DB for short) is a political party in Poland that formed in the course of protests against the ACTA Agreement in March 2012 and was registered as a party in November of the same year. It is a thematic party that sees its task in implementing principles of direct democracy , such as referendums , initiative procedures and recalls , in the political system of Poland . Against this background, DB takes no position on social or economic issues and thus unites people with different political convictions. Other thematic priorities include freedom of expression and the strengthening of regional self-government.

In the presidential election 2015 candidate Paweł Tanajno for DB and scored 29,785 of votes, which corresponded to 0.2 percent. A few months later, during the 2015 parliamentary elections , five candidates started unsuccessfully from the Kukiz movement's list .
