The DENIOS AG is a specialist in the manufacture and distribution of products for environmental protection enterprises. It is based in Bad Oeynhausen in East Westphalia . In 2018, the company achieved sales of 190 million euros with 891 employees.
history
In 1986 Denios was founded by Helmut Dennig as P&D Systemtechnik in Porta Westfalica in East Westphalia. As early as 1987, the company relocated to its current location in Bad Oeynhausen, and one year later the first sales office was opened in Stuttgart. From 1990 to 2008 subsidiaries and branches were founded in 14 countries, including the USA, France, Sweden and Poland. In 1999 P&D Systemtechnik changed its name to Denios AG.
In 2007 a modern administration complex was moved into and the production halls expanded. In 2011, 2017 and 2019 Denios AG was included in the list of the 100 most innovative medium-sized companies and received the "TOP 100" seal of approval from the Vienna University of Economics and Business .
Denios is one of 25 core companies in the BMBF top cluster "Intelligent Technical Systems" ( it's OWL ). "
Products
Organizationally, the business is operated in two business units. The Catalog Products business unit sells standard products via catalog, online shop and through resellers. In addition to collecting trays or hazardous material storage systems, products for occupational safety and industrial needs are offered here. The Engineered Solutions business unit comprises self-produced technical room systems as well as individual solutions (project business) for the storage of hazardous substances with various technical equipment such as ventilation or thermal technology.
With the DENIOS Academy, the company offers seminars, certified training courses and conferences in the areas of occupational safety and environmental protection for the specialist audience.
