Denis Hennequin (born June 8, 1958 ) is a French manager .

Life

Hennequin studied law at the Université Panthéon-Assas . After completing his studies, he got a job at the US company McDonald’s . In 2004, Hennequin was named Vice President of McDonald's Europe and in that capacity worked very closely with Russ Smyth , President of McDonald's Europe, until he left the company. He rose to the position of President of McDonald's Europe from 2005 and was responsible for corporate operations in 51 countries, having previously served as President and Management Director of McDonald's France from 1996 to 2004.

In 2010, Hennequin left McDonald's and moved to the French hotel company Accor , whose management he took over in January 2011 as the successor to Gilles Pélisson .

Hennequin is married and has three children.
