Thinking trail

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The thinking path is an art project in Grebenstein ( Northern Hesse ) around the Grebenstein castle ruins .

On the educational thought path I you can hike a 13-part ascent through 2500 years of philosophy history from Heraklit to Wittgenstein . The path begins at the castle gate with a quote from Heraclitus: “ The sun is as wide as a human foot. "And ends on the viewing platform of the castle ruins with the Wittgenstein quote:" Always climb from the bleak heights of wisdom into the green valleys of stupidity. "

In 2007 the second path was created with the name " Thinking Path II: The Oriental Way ", which deals with 3000 years of Asian thought, and in 2009 the " Thinking Path III: a literary course from Homer to Handke ".

The quotes are carved into benches and stones made of red Chinese granite .
