The memorial of the Köpenick Blood Week (also memorial for the victims of the Köpenick Blood Week) is an architectural monument in the district of Köpenick in the Berlin district of Treptow-Köpenick .

The memorial, which is intended to commemorate the 91 victims of the fascist terror during the Köpenick Blood Week in June 1933, was inaugurated on the square of April 23 on October 7, 1969 and is by the sculptor Walter Sutkowski . The stele is six meters high, ends with a fist, which symbolizes the resistance against the Hitler regime and is made of artificial stone . On the front of the monument are two falling people. In 1971, the same artist who also erected the memorial added a relief wall designed as a curved concrete wall entitled Our Peaceful Structure . On the back it can be read: AND IF WE / THEN / WILL STILL / WILL LIVE / IF IT / WILL BE ACHIEVED / WILL LIVE / OUR PROGRAM! / IT BECOMES THE WORLD / REDEEMED / HUMANITY / RULE / DESPITE ALL. / KARL LIEBKNECHT . Next to the memorial is a stainless steel explanatory board with an inscription explaining what the Köpenick Blood Week memorial is all about.
