Monument topography

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A monument topography (in Austria art topography ) represents the monuments of a region in connection with the geographical situation and the historical development of the description area. It differs from the monument list in that it is much more detailed, which can also include introductory overall representations. The transition to the monument inventory is fluid, detailed monument topographies are in part the size of a small inventory , while the large inventory usually contains much more detailed descriptions of the individual monument objects and also includes abandoned monuments.
