Dennis Hame

Dennis Hame (born July 14, 1977 in Gifhorn ) is a German author .

Life and work

Professionally working as a computer scientist , Hame also occupied himself with the game of poker for a while, as he was interested in the mathematics of the game. As a columnist, Hame also published various articles about poker on specialist websites, in forums and magazines. His current focus is on professional photographic work such as light painting, lost places and HDR (High Dynamic Range).

In 2008 his first book was finally published, which is aimed at poker beginners and semi-professionals. At the end of 2009 this book was also published as an audio book . At the beginning of 2010 his second work on poker was published, which was also published as an audio book. According to his own information, the author is already working on a third work, which should be aimed primarily at professional players.

Since the beginning of 2010, Hame has been a certified and active member of the Tournament Directors Association (TDA), which, among other things  , creates uniform and internationally recognized rules for poker tournaments - for example for the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas .
