Dennis Hohloch

Dennis Hohloch (born March 19, 1989 in Potsdam ) is a German teacher and politician of the Alternative for Germany (AfD).

Life

Hohloch studied history and geography to become a teacher. He works as a teacher in Brandenburg. Since 2014 he has been a member of the Potsdam City Council for the AfD Brandenburg. On September 1, 2019, Hohloch succeeded in entering the Brandenburg state election as a member of the Brandenburg state parliament for the AfD Brandenburg via the state list . On October 22, 2019, he was elected by the parliamentary group as parliamentary managing director and thus the successor to Andreas Galau , who had previously been elected by the state parliament as vice- president.

In the summer of 2020 he became provisional group leader for Andreas Kalbitz as group leader. In August 2020, Kalbitz hit Hohloch with his fist in the stomach while greeting him. Hohloch then had to be hospitalized for a ruptured spleen . The Potsdam public prosecutor's office started investigations against Kalbitz on suspicion of negligent bodily harm .
