Dennis Wilke (born September 14, 1985 in Sindelfingen ) is a former German handball player . He ran several seasons for HBW Balingen-Weilstetten in the handball Bundesliga . He is left-handed and played in the right winger position .
Career
In his youth Wilke started at SV Böblingen until he moved to HSG Schönbuch at the end of the B-youth. Then he moved to the handball 3rd division team SG Haslach / Herrenberg / Kuppingen . In 2006 Wilke then signed a contract with the first division club HBW Balingen-Weilstetten . Thanks to a sponsorship license , he was able to continue playing games for the HSG Haslach / Herrenberg / Kuppingen until 2008. In summer 2012 he joined the first division club TuS N-Lübbecke . For the 2014/15 season he returned to HBW Balingen-Weilstetten. He ended his career after the 2016/17 season.
Dennis Wilke has played five international matches for the German national beach handball team .
He also studied law at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . Since September 2015 he has been training as an insurance and finance businessman.
