Bernartice u Milevska depot

The depot of Bernartice u Milevska (also Hortfund von Bernartice u Milevska ) is a depot find of the Early Bronze Age Aunjetitz culture from Bernartice u Milevska in Jihočeský kraj , Czech Republic . It dates to between 1800 and 1600 BC. The depot is now in the Tábor Museum .

Find history

The depot was discovered in 2008 with a metal detector . The site is about 1 km east of St. Martin's Church in Bernartice and 200 m south of a brook on the southern slope of a gently rising hill.

The depot consists of 50 bronze bars and a gold wire .
