Find history
The depot was discovered in 1866 northeast of Neumětely when the road to Hořovice was being built in the "na Housině" district. It was just below the surface.
composition
The depot consists of ten bronze objects : five edge ridge axes , a lance tip , two ball-headed needles and two open double wire arm rings . The items had been carefully arranged. At the bottom lay two axes and between them the tip of the lance. The three objects all pointed in the same direction. On top of this lay two other axes arranged in the same way and on top of these at right angles the fifth one. The two needles that pointed in opposite directions lay on top of it. The two rings leaned on the sides and rested on the top hatchet and the spout of the lance tip.
