Olbersdorf depot

The Olbersdorf depot is an archaeological depot from the Early Bronze Age that was discovered near Olbersdorf ( Görlitz district ).

The hoard was discovered in 1778 southeast of the village and south of the former Vorwerk on the Kaltenstein am Butterhübel . It consisted of 49 or 50 axes, only one edge ridge has survived. The dating to 1800–1600 BC Chr. Assigns the find to the Aunjetitz culture .
