Prague-Zlíchov depot

The Prague-Zlíchov Depot (also known as the Prague-Zlíchov hoard ) is a depot find of the Early Bronze Age Aunjetitz culture from Zlíchov , a district of Prague , Czech Republic . It dates between 2000 and 1800 BC. The depot is now in the National Museum in Prague.

Find history

The depot was first mentioned in 1891. The date of the find and the exact circumstances of the find are unknown. The site is on the eastern slope of the Hradiště Devín mountain . It is one of numerous depot finds from the urban area of ​​Prague.

composition

The depot consists of two bronze rings made of double wire. The ends are curled up and pointed. One specimen has recently broken and deformed.
