history

The magazine appeared for the first time in 1948. The justice administration gazette was absorbed in the magazine. Initially it was published by Schwann Verlag in Düsseldorf , later by Heggen from Opladen until 1973 . It was published by Heymanns until 2011. Until 2002, the magazine carried the addition "trade journal for members of the public service". The Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Ministry of the Interior of Lower Saxony were involved in the so-called A edition in the 1950s. A B edition was published from 1950 to 1954 by Kohlhammer Verlag in cooperation with the Rhineland-Palatinate Administration Academy.
