The Hambrey Cliffs are cliffs on James Ross Island in West Antarctica . They stretch for 3 km from the southwest corner of Davies Dome to Baloo Col on the northeast shore of Whiskey Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 2006 after the Welsh glaciologist Michael John Hambrey (* 1948), who carried out field research on James Ross Island from 2001 to 2002 and from 2005 to 2006 in collaboration with the British Antarctic Survey .
