The Davies Dome is a small, 400 m high ice dome with rocky side flanks on James Ross Island off the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises southeast of Stoneley Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1988 after Gwion (called "Taff") Davies (1917-2005), general assistant in Operation Tabarin in Port Lockroy from 1943 to 1944 and in Hope Bay from 1944 to 1945.
