The Baloo Col is a 250 m high pass in the northeast of the West Antarctic James Ross Island . It is 3 km northwest of Davies Dome on the southeast side of Kaa Bluff . It is the only access between Brandy Bay in the northeast and Whiskey Bay in the southwest.
The pass is named after the bear Baloo from The Jungle Book by the British writer Rudyard Kipling from 1894.
