from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

content

The poem is about a rabbit with a blue ear and a red nose. The other animals wonder where such a rabbit would come from. Due to its special appearance, the fox does not recognize the hare, whereupon the hare is happy about its specialty: "How beautiful is my nose / and also my blue ear! / That happens so rarely!"

Educational use

The poem is known and can be used in the context of generative text formation . When presented in an action-oriented manner, the poem enables children with little knowledge of the German language to understand the text. When working with the poem, children can process several grammatical phenomena in a highly structured and rhythmic form.

Barbara Brüning recommends the book for ethics lessons in primary school to address the topic of "being different". The publisher also classifies it under the headings “otherness” and “tolerance”.
