At the end of 1909 this production started under this title in Austria-Hungary. In 1915 the film was shown again in cinemas on the occasion of the First World War and the associated German air raids on England.
criticism
“A wonderful cinematographic recording shows this gruesomely beautiful picture not only the horrors that the airships with their terrifying projectiles will spread on earth in a war of the future, but also the terrible war between the airships against each other in the air. Air torpedoes destroy the airships with well-aimed shots and enveloped in a sea of flames, they plunge into the depths while burning, spreading death and ruin. This film is a sensation of the first order on the film market. "
