The Fairy Tale Cat Told (also known as The Fairy Tale Cat ) is a French - Canadian animated series that was produced between 1993 and 1994 . The plot is based on the stories of the same name by Marcel Aymé , which were published between 1934 and 1946.

action

The fairytale tomcat likes to sunbathe on a tree and tell exciting stories that he has experienced himself. He lives with the blonde sisters Delphine and Marinette on a farm in France and therefore has a lot to report. The other animals on the farm can also talk to the girls and they experience many adventures. Dolphins and Marinette have been turned into horses before. Their parents demand a lot of obedience, good grades and willingness to work from them and therefore keep a close eye on a visit from the good-natured Uncle Alfred, who gives them presents from time to time. With clever ideas and the help of the animals, however, they can usually outsmart their parents. The sisters can also tame wild animals and they even make friends with some of them.
