The New exhortation is an Austrian newspaper with communist orientation, intermittent and sometimes under another name since 1927 in Graz and Vienna appear.

The unemployed

From the beginning of February 1927 until the 3rd edition on February 26th, the newspaper was called Der Arbeitslose and had the secondary title Zentralorgan der Arbeitslosen Steiermarks . It contained no news, but served communist agitation . The unemployed person was owned by Albert Pfneusl, editor and publisher Anton Koch and editor-in-chief Wilhelm Kahopka.

The warning call (First Republic)

The successor sheet was Der Mahnruf from March 4, 1927 , which appeared until May 1929, when Der Neue Mahnruf replaced it. From March 1927 to May 1929 a total of 19 issues of the newspaper Der Mahnruf appeared. It was first published every fortnight and then weekly in Graz. He first ran the sub-title Organ for the Unemployed and Workers , and later the campaign sheet for the working people . Editor and publisher was still Anton Koch, Albert Pfneisl also remained the owner. The editors were Wilhelm Kahopka and Albert Pfneisl. Also , the exhortation was no news newspaper, but the communist agitation should serve.

The New Reminder Call (First Republic)

The Neue Mahnruf appeared in Graz and Vienna from May 1929 to February 1934. It was published fortnightly by Hans Thoma, who acted as owner and publisher at the same time. From 1929 the ownership and the functions of publisher, editor and editor changed frequently. Reminder Call (Second Republic)

After the Second World War , the reminder with the sideline for freedom and human rights appeared from November 1946 to March 1948 as an organ of the Association of the Politically Persecuted - Austrian Federal Association .

The New Reminder (Second Republic)

After the dissolution of the Bund of Politically Persecuted People , Der Neue Mahnruf was published on October 1st with the sub-title Zeitschrift für Freiheit, Recht und Demokratie . It was the organ of the Association of Austrian KZler and otherwise politically persecuted in Vienna (later called KZ-Verband / VdA ) and appeared monthly until 2003, since then every two months.
